You can tell by the shadow on the left or the gravel on the right of the flowers.
Playing around with bracketing, which means taking three [or more] identical pictures very fast in succession.
Many cameras will do this for you these days.
You can programme it for various parameters. I chose the EV - Exposure compensation varying from +.7 to 0.0. to -.7 or if you like, from making the iris larger and letting in a lot of light, via normal all the way down to making the iris smaller and letting in less light. The camera will arrange your speed for you needed to compensate.
I now plan to bracket with other things, once I know how to set it.
Best shown in the small leaf center top of the pictures.
I could have made it more dramatic by setting a wider range of EV, like +2.0 through 0.0 to -2.0.

It would be helpful if you could express your preference in a comment.

Great photos. I think in both cases, the last version provides clearer detail. The first is a little washed out, second is okay, but third really pops.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jayne. I agree with you.
ReplyDeleteYes, Jane is right. I like the delicate yellow flower. Very pretty.
