Cleaning up

Another image of one of my streptocarpus plants. The flowers are really old-fashioned. I have sourced some plug plants introduced from Poland. Apparently they are wizards at breeding new varieties over there and now importing them into the UK.

  1. Oh my, this is beautiful. I love the coral red against the grey background. The colors really pop - stunning!

  2. Gosh, you're a wizard with flowers. Those red dahlias (hope I've got that right and not mistaken chrysanths for dahlias) are my absolute favourites. The streptocarpus look lovely too, mind, but I'm a sucker for dahlias, the divas of the autumn garden. Hope they're all surviving the worst that the weather is throwing around right now. All the best, Bonny

  3. I always thought that streptocarpus was similar to African Violets! These are wonderful and the dahlias aren't shabby either. How do you change your image into that great abstract painting? Your posts are always GREAT. Tom The Backroads Traveller

  5. Without having read your words yet, the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw the first image was, "Wow, these flowers look pretty old-fashioned." I do love that shade of red, though --so vibrant!
